Natasha Pinto Medici
Natasha was born in Rio de Janeiro and came to the USA in 2014 to pursue her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at Stony Brook University. In 2019, Natasha joined Dr. Escobar-Hoyos lab at Yale to study the role of Alternative RNA splicing in Pancreatic cancer and resistance to therapy. Natasha advocates for gender equality in STEM and believes that mentoring students for pursuing their career goals is a powerful tool for the expansion of science and research in Brazil.
