Mariana Nigro Mattos. YPMP Program Advisor.

Program manager. Dr. Nigro has a Master and PhD in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. During her graduate school years, she has helped in the organization of many Science Outreach projects aimed to provide hands-on science courses to low-income high school students. Dr. Nigro has worked at Yale as a postdoctoral fellow and at the University of New Haven as a lecturer in Biochemistry. She is also a volunteer at the Yale Peabody Museum of National History.
