Luiz is a Biomedical Sciences student interested in microbiology, immunology and neglected diseases. Currently, he is conducting his undergraduate research as a member of the Group of Advanced Studies in Medical Mycology (GEAMICOL) at the Federal University of Delta of the Parnaíba, where he also serves in the local Microbiology Interest Group.
