Joao Pedro Medeiros Gomes (he, him, his)

João Pedro is a Medical student at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. He has worked in many biomedical projects spanning from bionanotechnology, microbiology and epidemiology and engaged in a myriad of student's projects envisioning popular science, events' organizations and leadership. Currently, he takes part in an epidemiology group that studies the relationship between climate and diseases and is interested in artificial intelligence, statistics, and health-related modern problems. He believes that science is the way to a sustainable and thriving future, and that we all must work together to attain these goals.
